The day after graduation, I went to my friend Kim's beach party for her birthday. It was a lot of fun. Then afterwards, I spent the night at my friend Brittney's condo on the beach. It was so cool. She saved the life of a stingray, which I wouldn't reccommend doing unless you know what you are doing cuz they can sting you and possibly KILL you. Which is generally not a good thing. She knew what to do cuz she worked at Sea World for a while, which is cool. We got to go to the beach at night and walk out on the pier. It was a lot of fun.

Graduation is the culmination of 13 years of education. It marks an end to high school and the beginning of something new (aka real life, as people like to say, as if the past 17 or so years do not count). I am very very happy to be done with high school and starting the next epoch in my life, which is COLLEGE!!! Wow! I am gonna be a college student. Now I am finally alumnai of something!! Anyway, it was really exciting, but sad, since I will probably never see all of these people again, sniff. But on the bright side, high school is OVER!!!

I was able to go on a school trip to Tallahassee and had a really great time. Tallahasse is Florida's capitol. We got to go to the Capitol building and saw the Senate and the House of Representatives. We also saw the old capitol building, which is much prettier than the new one. We saw the Supreme Court of Florida. All of this inspired me to consider a change in career, let's think Judge Graci, or Senatrice Broc? Well, maybe not, but it was really cool. Our trip sponsor, Mr. Smith beeped when he went thru the metal detector and the police men frisked him. It was funny. Anyway, it was a really cool trip!!! If you haven't been to Tallahasse, you definately should cuz it is AMAAAAZING!!!!

IT WAS AMAAAZING!!!

At my school each year we have a banquet to honor the seniors. It was so much fun. I went with my friend Jon Kriss. I also had to sing a solo, so I was kinda, well, a lot nervous!!! I was very happy when it was over!!! Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I wore "the perfect dress", had my hair, nails, and makeup done. It was FAAABULOUS!!

These are the most recent family pictures of us we have. When I say family I mean my immediate family, and John, and Jonathan and Prunelle. We are like one big happy family even though, we are not all related. My family is moving up to be with my grandparents right after I graduate from high school, because my grandmother recently discovered that she has cancer. I will still be attending Pensacola Christian College, and will be starting work there June 16. Any prayers for my grandparents or me will be appreciated. Anyway, on a happier tone, here are the pics!!! Enjoy!!

The Perfect Dress

Finding the perfect dress is never easy. While Jonathan and Prunelle were here we went to JC Penny's to look at formals for an banquet at my school. We tried on like a million dresses, and I actually bought two. One of which, I will call the perfect dress because I just looooove it! It was gorgeous. Prunelle didn't need a dress, but she has just as much fun (if not more) than I did. It was great. Their whole visit was FAAAAABULOUS. When we were in France we were all really close and they are definately the French people that I miss the most (besides all my french relatives of course!). They are going to Martinique for Jonathan's job soon, so hopefully, I will be able to go and return the visit to them soon, lol. :)

Disney World!!!!

Disney world is AMAZING!! No wonder they say that it is the happiest place on earth. We went to the Pirate and Princess Party from 5 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. It was FABULOUS!! THere were no lines for any of the rides, but that might have been due to the rain, lol, and there was a parade, and fabulous fire works. Wow!! WE went to the magic kingdom, but I am sooooo going back there someday. It is beautiful. Maybe for my honey moon, lol. wow. If you haven't been to disney world, you HAVE to go. IT is expensive, but it is sooooo worth it!!!

Skiing is a sport that requires grace, elegance, and balance. One pictures skiers gracefully gliding down picturesque slopes smiling and enjoying the sensation of flying. Unfortunately, my skiing experience is nothing like that. First of all, we missed ski school, so we had two hours till the next one, not to mention the freezing rain!! Anyway, I couldn't for the life of me, figure out how come my ski wouldn't go on, until someone told me it was it was upside down, which will make a difference. Finally, skis on I try to ski down to the ski lift. I practically flew down and counldn't stop for the life of me, untill I fell on my butt and then couldn't get up. After much assistance from Jon, I got up took off the skis, and waited in the ski lodge for ski school. Well, after ski school, during which I nearly skied into a TREE, and fell off the ski lift (talk about embarrassing!!) while getting off, and being called a SOCIAL SKIER by the grumpy ski instructor, I felt ready to brave the slopes. I fell off the ski lift once more, and was knocked over by the ski lift when I was jumping up and down in excitement after not having fallen off the ski lift. Then the actual skiing part was interesting. I would always start off well, get too much speed, and then end up on my butt with one eg going each direction so that I couldn't get up without taking off my skis. Thanks to Mrs. Carlson, our chap, I finally learned to snowplow, and skied down two slopes without falling down again!!! Before that, if you had been watching, this girl looking like a black poofy marshmallow in her ski gear (moi) would start down the slope, start screaming when she realized she would fall down, fall on her butt, slide down the rest of the slope, struggle in the snow for a while to get up while yelling "I'm so sick of falling down!!!" and then finally get up and go again. AFter lunch I was so tired that I stayed in the lodge for a while, but it got really foggy so I stayed awhile more and my friends and I got together to pray for safety for those who were still out on the slopes. About an hour later, Jon, the sleeping one, lol, came back. He had skiied right off the slope, "due to fog", and had skiied into 3 or 4 trees. He could have died. But God protected him. And more amazing, it all happened while we were praying for safety. Isn't God good? Anyway, despite all of the mishaps that occured to me, I would love to go skiing anytime again!! It is soooo amazing!!! Skiing is FABULOUS!!

Jon and Prunelle Arrive

Jon and Prune arrived February 16 and were able to stay till March 8. It was so much fun. I was a little sad that I was not able to spend more time with them because I was busy with school, and work, and skiing, but it was a lot of fun. There are going to be a lot of posts about all the stuff that we did we them, and it was so much fun!!! And while I wait for the photos to keep uploading I will keep rambling on and on and on about various unimportant stuff. There they are!!

For spirit day at school I went blond!!! I personally think I could do that look. Rest assured, that I didn't dye my own "fabulous" brunette hair. It was a wig!!! It was amazing!!!!

On February 15, we had an amazing Valentine's day banquet at our school. Did I have a date you ask? Yes, I was my date. Lol. I actually went with a bunch of girls from school who didn't have dates either, and we had lots of fun. As my favorite pj's say, boys are stupid, throw rocks at them. We did teacher impersonations and I was our very preganant keyboarding teacher, Mrs. Escamilia. It was a scary look at the future for me, but for the humour of our class, I did it anyway,lol.
